Mitigation and adaption strategies for global change, 2022, 27(56). https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1007\/s11027-022-10034-5<\/p>\n<p>Abstract<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSe revisan varios estudios sobre el impacto futuro del cambio clim\u00e1tico durante el siglo XXI, haciendo un resumen exhaustivo de los efectos estimados para Chile. Varios estudios sugieren que es probable que Chile sufra efectos leves del cambio clim\u00e1tico en el siglo XXI en t\u00e9rminos de crecimiento del PIB, productividad laboral y costes de mortalidad. Sin embargo, existe una gran incertidumbre en torno a estas estimaciones, y al menos un estudio predice p\u00e9rdidas significativas del PIB debido a las dificultades de adaptaci\u00f3n. Se calcul\u00f3 un factor de componentes principales que resume la informaci\u00f3n de seis medidas diferentes de p\u00e9rdida de PIB en una sola variable, mostrando un valor de componente principal bajo para Chile. Adem\u00e1s, varios estudios indican que Chile puede enfrentarse a problemas no relacionados con el PIB como el cambio clim\u00e1tico, peligros de la contaminaci\u00f3n atmosf\u00e9rica, sequ\u00eda, el agua, biodiversidad, da\u00f1os en ecosistemas, y la migraci\u00f3n humana.<br \/>\nPor \u00faltimo, seg\u00fan varios \u00edndices, Chile sigue posicion\u00e1ndose s\u00f3lo en la mitad de la tabla en t\u00e9rminos de pol\u00edtica, infraestructuras, y preparaci\u00f3n clim\u00e1tica. Chile tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1 por debajo de varios pa\u00edses desarrollados en t\u00e9rminos gasto p\u00fablico en protecci\u00f3n del medio ambiente e impuestos medioambientales, mientras que al mismo tiempo presenta un alto valor de los combustibles f\u00f3siles.
